I live in Alabama. Harvest, AL. We survived a f4 tornado the other day. SURVIVED.

There is nothing like being able to say that... I am grateful for that. I just wish that the power would be restored. It adds insult to injury that people trying to fix their homes or at least make them a safe shelter have no way of using power tools. God. We went to Tennessee to get some kind of comfort. Even just for a night. We wont have power til at least Tuesday. No hot water. No microwave. No way to keep food cold. Can not turn on the lights without lighting a copious amount of candles. On top of that, our cell phone towers were taken out so calls are next to impossible and most people still have no idea just how bad it is.

Please. If you can, if you are reading this, if you care, try to donate to the red cross. I do not ask for anything. There is a lot of people that are homeless now. They live next door, down the street, across the county, and around the state. Keep these people in your thoughts/prayers. If you haven't gotten in touch with loved ones, please be patient. They may just not be able to use their cell phones.

It is the most horrible thing I have ever experienced. Please, help. Look online for a way to assist those in need.

Thanks,
Amy :star:

I feel terrible for those families affected by this tremendous Natural Disaster. God Bless them. Humans should unite and help when such a major disaster happens.
