Constructing Aphroditeby ~starfantazy

Digital Art / Photomanipulation / Fantasy

Ok, so, I was just messing about with this one...
I think to describe this, would be my interpretation of how the angels/cherubs might construct a modern day Aphrodite. Using only her sculpture as reference, they paint her into life.

Stock from sxc.hu and a couple brushes from da. The face is 2 separate images..[link] and [link]

I decided to not add any wings to the angels, as i felt it would be too cliche, and instead made them bottomless as that helps to make them less human looking. I also added the gems, as diamonds are a girls best friend...lol. I may add more later, but i want to work on another idea and i cant have this hanging about in my things to do list. I am sorry for being behind on collabs, but im working hard to get better to make those collabs even better looking.

also, the little thing under her is a little something im working on for my logo.

This is a really amazing and well thought out piece! I love the contrast between the sculpture and skin but the transition from the stone into hair is really well done. Beautiful work
